App Instruction
Use this app instruction as a quick start guide for setting up your RTK environment.
Provider
Connect your device with the RTK add-on or integrated gnss module.
- X6 Pro
- Click Setup and choose baudrate. (Default 38400)
- Click Connect.
- See NMEA messages in the Log.
- Click on Configuration to configure the module.
If you are not seeing NMEA messages, you may see a message like "Nmea not available - Check connection or baudrate". In this case, click Disconnect and choose other baudrate in Setup.
Ntrip
Connect with a Ntrip Server (Mountpoint) and receive correction data.
- Click on Add.
- Input Host and Port.
- Select Mountpoint.
- Input Username and Password.
- Click on Connect.
- See Ntrip communication in the Log.
Gnss
- Show location data and correction information.
- Show location on map.
Output
- Mock Location
- Simulates internal gnss module with location data of the external RTK add-on.
- Can be received in 3rd party apps.
Not necessary for integrated RTK gnss modules.
- Location Intent
- Sends location intent via Broadcast.
- Action: com.nordalp.rtk.RTK_LOCATION
- Can be received from 3rd party apps.
- TCP Server
- Connect as a TCP client.
- Output: NMEA messages
- Receive NMEA messages.
