u-blox F9P Add-on: Firmware Update to HPG 1.51
What is it about?
Firmware HPG 1.51 is available for the u-blox F9P add-on (ZED-F9P-01B) on the Nordalp X6 Pro and Nautiz X6V2. It is the latest version.
Why update?
With HPG 1.51, the module supports SBAS (EGNOS in Europe). SBAS satellites broadcast correction data for GPS. As a result, the module delivers a more accurate and more reliable position (DGPS fix), even without an RTK correction service or an internet connection. This helps wherever NTRIP is not available, or where improved baseline accuracy is all you need. The firmware also includes u-blox’s latest improvements and bug fixes.
What you need
- Windows PC with USB cable
- adb (Android Platform Tools) on the PC
- u-center v23.08 (classic, not u-center 2)
- Firmware file HPG 1.51 (.bin)
- USB debugging enabled on the device
- Nordalp - ublox Firmware Tool app on the device
