Enable NMEA Mode – GPS output through USB port on Algiz RT8

The Algiz RT8 has the feature to output GPS data through its USB port. This means that it can be connected via USB to external devices such as a PC and output the GPS data from its internal u-blox M8N module.

Since this feature is disabled by default, you need to manually enable it by following the steps below.

1.  Go to Settings > Security & location > Location
2. Enable NMEA Mode
