With the increasing digitalization of the construction industry, the field of surveying is also undergoing massive change. Above all, there is a demand for the rapid flow of information. Modern surveying methods, BIM processes, and cloud-based project platforms enable the exchange of information between the field and the office in near real-time.

This allows high-precision data from GNSS systems, total stations, laser scanners, or drones to be visualized and verified directly in the field. Of particular interest for surveying applications is the option to equip the Nordalp X6 Pro with a high-precision RTK receiver.
This enables the capture of positional data with centimeter-level accuracy—a crucial requirement for cadastral surveys, infrastructure projects, utility mapping, and road or civil engineering. The RTK receiver makes it possible to perform surveying tasks without additional external GNSS hardware or to significantly streamline existing workflows. "At the same time, users benefit from intuitive operation and the ability to run surveying software and GIS applications directly on the device," explains Feurhuber.

The compact Nordalp X6 Pro is ideally suited for mobile surveying tasks and rapid data collection, while the Algiz 10XR serves as a powerful platform for extensive visualization and documentation on the job site. The two devices thus complement each other perfectly within digital project workflows. In addition to on-site surveying, the Algiz 10XR excels at mobile data collection; it allows site managers to access digital blueprints, document construction progress, record defects, and review BIM models directly in the field. The 10-inch device combines a large, sunlight-readable display—which facilitates the viewing of detailed blueprints and terrain models—with a rugged design built for daily outdoor use. Thanks to its high processing power, the tablet is well-suited for handling extensive CAD drawings, GIS applications, and complex BIM models. It features a dedicated u-blox receiver and a modern chipset, as well as a long-lasting, hot-swappable battery.

Modern mobile computers are indispensable for the digitalization of the construction industry. One of their key advantages is seamless integration into digital workflows. Captured measurement data can be immediately synchronized with project platforms or transferred to cloud applications.
